ZidiTax was born from a simple frustration — Kenyan taxpayers deserved better tools. We built the platform we wished existed.
Why we exist
In 2022, our founder spent three days trying to file a simple IT1 return — navigating an outdated portal, deciphering P9 forms, and second-guessing every field. He wasn't alone. Millions of Kenyans overpay, underpay, or simply don't file — not because they're dishonest, but because the system is hard.
We built ZidiTax to change that. Not a government system. Not a replacement for accountants. A self-service intelligence layer that gives every Kenyan taxpayer the same advantage that used to require expensive professionals.
